Fiji's investment potential is yet to be fully explored by international investors looking for the right opportunity. Other areas that have been partially exploited are the natural coconut soaps and spa products, with companies such as Mokosoi and Pure Fiji taking advantage in the recent rise in interest in lifestyle-related exports. The leisure industry has seen a marked rise in relaxation beauty therapies and spas throughout the world.

There is still a great potential for other commodities for both local consumption as well as for export. These include exotic tropical flowers, fruit and vegetables. Yet another area is in the production of spices, as is seen from the success in recent years of Spice Fiji Ltd, based in Wainadoi on the Fiji mainland, which has successfully increased its exports of vanilla products. These include vanilla essence, vanilla paste, vanilla pods and so on. In addition to the export benefits to Fiji, it also provides a local income for farmers throughout the islands who are contracted by Spice Fiji to grow the vanilla plants.
