ABOUT NEW CALEDONIA - CLIMATE
One of New Caledonia's main assets is its mild climate, providing an exceptional lifestyle - it is said that the city of Noumea has one of the largest number of pleasure craft per capita in the world!
There are two main seasons - a warm and wet season, and a dry season.
The dry cooler months are from April to November ... the daily temperature ranges from 17-27oC.
During the wet season, December to March, the temperature can get as hot as 32oC. Occasional cyclones strike the islands during the wet season.
The south-east trade winds temper the heat, and evenings are pleasantly cool.
