ABOUT TONGA - BANKING & FINANCE
The Bank of Tonga, of which the Government has substantial shareholding, provides full commercial and Savings Bank facilities. The ANZ and the MBf Banking Group also provide full commercial facilities.
The Tonga Development Bank, established and backed by Government provides term loans and financial services required by industries and entrepreneurs. It can and does provide equity participation in approved commercial projects.
The Reserve Bank of Tonga regulates the financial sector of the Kingdom.
